- BPSC 31st Bihar Judicial Service Preliminary and 65th Combined Main Examination postponed, now exam will be held in December and December instead of November

Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has postponed the 31st Bihar Judicial Service Preliminary Examination and 65th Combined Main Examination. In this regard, the BPSC has issued a notification on the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in. Accordingly, the probable dates of 65th joint main examination are 25 November, 26 November and 28 November 2020. Whereas, the date of the 31st Bihar Judicial Service Preliminary Examination has now been fixed for December 6, 2020.
Exams were to be held on October first
Earlier, the 31st Bihar Judicial Service Preliminary Examination was scheduled to be held on 7 October. At the same time, 65th joint main examination was to be held on 13, 14 October and 20 October 2020. According to the notification issued, new possible dates have been announced postponing these exams due to urgent reasons. According to Amit Kumar, OSD cum PRO of BPSC, due to assembly elections, there were problems in getting the examination center. Training for elections is going on in many schools. In such a situation, the dates of examinations have been extended in view of these conditions.
Preliminary examination was held in February
Under the BPSC 65th Civil Services Recruitment Exam, 434 vacancies of various posts are to be filled in various departments of the Government of Bihar. The preliminary examination for this was held in February 2020. Candidates who have cleared the main examination will be called for interview. After this, the final merit list will be prepared based on the numbers found in the main examination and interview. Apart from this, a total of 221 posts of civil judges will be appointed through the 31st Bihar Judicial Service Recruitment Examination.
