In Jamia Millia Islamia University, entrance exam has started for admission to admission in 126 courses and diplomas including graduation, post graduation in academic year 2020-21. This examination will continue till 22 November. This year, 2,17,817 students have applied online for admission in the university.

Exams being held in various states

Examination centers have been set up in other states including Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Uttarakhand, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, West Bengal, Bihar, Rajasthan for the examination. The special SOP of Kovid-19 of Union Health Ministry is being followed during the examination being conducted in two shifts. Under social distancing, 12 students have been arranged to sit in a room.

Entry will be available after checking the temperature

Outside the examination center, students will be given entry only after checking and sanitizing the temperature. During this time, candidates can take a bottle of water and a small sanitizer bottle with them. During the examination, if a candidate’s body temperature is high or if he has any problem, then he will have to sit in a separate isolation room and take the test.

Waiting room facility for parents

For the first time a waiting room for parents has been provided in any of the national level entrance exam held between Corona. Waiting rooms have been set up keeping in mind the candidates from remote areas, especially the parents of women candidates. Here, seating has been arranged for them keeping in mind the social distancing.
