Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) will allow the provision of provisional admission to applicants for July session 2020 without qualifying exam results this year. This decision was given by the university in this regard, keeping in mind the conditions of the corona epidemic. Actually, due to Corona, the university took this decision due to the closure of many educational institutions in the country and the delay in the declaration of the result of the examination.
Documents to be submitted by 31 December
In a notification issued in this regard, IGNOU stated that to provide relief to such applicants as per the guidelines issued by the University Grants Commission, IGNOU will provide provisional admission to interested students under the following conditions. For the Undergraduate (UG) program, candidates will have to submit documents that can pass them in the Plus 2 exam.
Whereas for Post Graduate (PG) courses, the candidate has to produce a certificate of passing the second year / 5th semester of the Bachelor degree. Candidates desirous of provisional admission will have to submit these documents by 31 December.
Admission can be taken on 15 October
Along with this, IGNOU has also extended the last date for admission to October 15. In addition, the assignment submission deadline has also been extended for the June-December term-end examination. Candidates who have not yet applied can apply on the official website ignou.ac.in. End of June 2020 – The last date for submission of assignments for the examination was extended to 10 October. At the same time, TEE December 2020 examination can be submitted by 31 October.
